2002 ACURA RSX TYPE S

Feb 1st, 2010 | By administrator | Category: Acura

The RSX has the challenging task of taking over from the near legendary Integra that conquered the amateur sport car market. This new comer seeks to raise the combination of luxury and sport performance to a new level. The RSX is available in Base, Premium, and RSX models.

The Civic Coupe was used as a template for the RSX, which means that from now on it will feature a Mac pherson strut type front suspension, while the rear wishbone suspension was re-examined. The four-cylinder 2.0 litre engine is completely new and runs at 160 horsepower; the Type S reaches 200 horses. Power is transmitted to the front wheels by a five speed manual transmission (six-speed manual for the Type S), or a four-speed automatic transmission.
